On Sundays, guests are invited to attend area churches for morning worship. On Sunday evenings there is a service in the Tabernacle that begins at 7:00 PM. Our featured speaker will minister from Sunday evening through the weekday morning sessions. These sessions will run Monday - Friday at 10:00 AM in the Pine Lodge Conference room. Coffee and light refreshments will be served.

Dr. Douglas A. Blanc, Sr.

Doug is the Executive Director of Sacandaga Bible Conference ('05) and is pastor of Broadalbin Baptist Church ('99). He and wife, Sally, have six children and will celebrate 28 years of marriage in 2008. Sally is the summer Program Director here at SBC and runs our Day Camp. Doug and Sally are co-founders of Laborers Together ('92), a non-profit mission that involves the couple in cross-cultural missions. Doug is a member of the Evangelical Theological Society. He is on the Board of Directors for Independent Gospel Missions (Rochester, NY). Doug is currently pursuing a 2nd doctorate through the University of Wales, Lampeter (UK).

Rev. Richard T. Blanc, Sr.

Richard Blanc is the former pastor of Broadalbin Baptist Church (1972-80). He and wife, Kathy, work in the Encouragers Class at Prestonwood. Pastor Blanc is a graduate of Baptist Bible Seminary (formerly of Johnson City, NY) and Dallas Theological Seminary. He and Kathy have served churches in New York (Liverpool, Great Valley, Broadalbin) and Indiana (Cambridge City). The Blancs also served with Baptist Church Planters (Elyria, OH). They now reside in Plano, Texas.
